Adding functionality of eye-of-gnome to this app: - image rendering support (via e.g. imlib2?) - thumbnails (without caching!) - in-memory image rotation

This would make it the one-stop replacement for evince and eye-of-gnome - probably the two most useful gnome apps! is the name 'eview' already taken?!

This is already the best app I've found in years and finally enabled me to get rid of all gnome libs from my fluxbox system.
