= Welcome to ePDFView =

ePDFView is a [http://www.fsf.org/licensing/essays/free-sw.html free] lightweight PDF document viewer using [http://poppler.freedesktop.org/ Poppler] and [http://www.gtk.org/ GTK+] libraries.

The aim of ePDFView is to make a simple PDF document viewer, in the lines of [http://www.gnome.org/projects/evince/ Evince] but without using the [http://www.gnome.org/ Gnome] libraries.



== Requirements == 

In order to [wiki:Install install] and run ePDFView you need:

  * [http://www.gtk.org/ GTK+] version 2.6.0 or higher.
  * [http://poppler.freedesktop.org/ Poppler] version 0.5.0 or higher with Glib bindings.

Optionally:

  * [http://www.cups.org/ CUPS] for printing.
